Where does the AIA stand compared to other design and construction associations?

2011-2012 Association PAC Receipts: Design & Construction Industry

Back in 2001, someone told the ArchiPAC Chair that the chicken farmers raised more money for their PAC than the architects. And thus began an ongoing comparison between the two industries. Unfortunately, in 2010, they beat us again. However, in the 2011-2012 election cycle, we have already raised $25,000 more than the chicken farmers. There is still 8 months left.  Keep us ahead of the game by making a contribution today!

ArchiPAC Regional Challenge Rankings: Texas and the South Atlantic Region Win!

Texas wins in overall dollars raised and South Atlantic wins for highest participation; five states exceed $2,000 mark

The prize for both the region that raised the most dollars and the region that garnered the most AIA member participation is a $1,000 contribution to an architectural charity that benefits emerging professionals. With an ever-close match-up, Texas took a big dollar lead in the last few weeks of the Challenge, which closed on December 31st. However, the prize for participation as a percentage of total AIA membership goes to the South Atlantic Region (Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina). The ArchiPAC team congratulates all regions of the AIA on their success in this Challenge, which raised more than $30,000. For the full rankings, click here.

ArchiPAC Alumni Challenge – Notre Dame Wins! (July 2010)

Architects across the country participated in the second ArchiPAC Alumni Challenge, an effort to engage architects and make their contributions go twice as far. By giving to ArchiPAC during the Challenge (starting at the 2010 AIA Convention and closing July 15th), alumni from different architecture schools contributed to ArchiPAC on behalf of their school and the winning schools received a scholarship donation from the AIA.
